We held the Christmas party for Dee's side of the family at our home in Windham. The weather was an amazing 65 degrees, allowing outdoors activities. For this event I used an old Hexanon 40mm lens and an external TTL flash. There was enough light so that the flash was essentially working as a fill flash - not the primary illumination. The 40mm lens on my micro four-thirds camera is equal to an 80mm lens on a traditional 35mm camera, making the look of these photos much more portrait like. Indeed, many of them are portraits. Thumbs up to Haylea Allard, who will actually pose - and looks good! And, to little Trinity who does not know what posing means yet, but she sure does it well.
